Kids Helping Kids

“Kids Helping Kids” is a special program created in 2001 to engage youth in volunteering.  The philosophy behind the program is for youth cast members of CBYE productions to raise funds to send the most deserving children of our community to The Nutcracker.  For children, the opportunity to share in the magic of Christmas with their families allows them to leave their troubles for a few hours and dream of new possibilities. Every child deserves to see the Nutcracker!

Message For Our Youth

The Nutcracker encompasses much more than dance.

Although every young dancer has a dream of becoming a professional dancer, this dream may not come true for all.  CBYE provides a venue for young dancers to continue to express their appreciation for the arts, through volunteering, even after the final curtain closes.

All students are invited to join our circle of youth volunteers and help make a difference in the community.  This is an excellent opportunity for high school students to earn their 40 hours of community service.
