Giving Opportunities - Every Child Deserves to See The Nutcracker

“EVERY CHILD DESERVES TO SEE THE NUTCRACKER”

With the Christmas season fast approaching, the Canadian Ballet Youth Ensemble (CBYE) is already making its preparations to bring the annual performance of The Nutcracker to the City of Hamilton.

Created in 1991, CBYE is a charitable non-profit organization managed by an elected Board of volunteer Directors.   Our Mission Statement is to provide talented young dancers from the Greater Hamilton and surrounding areas with the opportunity to perform with professional artists, dancers, choreographers, and musicians; develop an audience for the appreciation of the arts; and to provide opportunity for the most deserving children of the community the opportunity to see our productions.

"Every Child Deserves To See The Nutcracker" is a Special Program of The Canadian Ballet Youth Ensemble.  Keeping in mind Christmas is about children, we'd like to give you the chance to be a part of a special community program. The Nutcracker is all about dreams. One visit to the Nutcracker Ballet may have such an impact on a child, providing a new “vision/dream” into their precious lives.  For many, the opportunity to attend such a magical production is “Making Dreams Come True”.  If you have a particular child or organization to which you would like us to sponsor a child from, this can be arranged. Our goal for this year is to sponsor 200 children. The generosity of the community is the key to reaching our goal.  The cost to sponsor one child is $49.50.

Please consider being part of our program by contributing to the gift drive for the children and families involved. Through your generosity, you'll be making dreams come true for children at the most anticipated time of the year. In return for your contribution, you'll receive:

• Sponsorship recognition in the official Nutcracker program, distributed at the Hamilton Place performances.
• A tax receipt for the full value of your donation
• All this, not to mention supporting a cause worthy of all our attention - children!
